<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nAfter the atrocities of October 7th, 2023, many Democrats celebrated with Palestinian sympathizers, rejoicing that people had been raped, murdered, mutilated, burned, and kidnapped. I was stunned to see this, and it changed me. These were not my people. There was no way I could support such bigotry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’d say it’s not so much that Trump won the election, as it is that Harris lost it. She and her supporters spent a good deal of time demonizing people they didn’t like, in particular White males. This was racist and sexist. It was permitted because they feel it’s OK to abuse White males.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Well, it’s not. Most White males are decent people, reasonable, fair-minded, peaceful. But if you keep telling us we’re the Devil, we’re not going to vote for you. Simple as that. And there were a lot of White males who, but for this demonizing, might well have voted for Harris. But Harris drove us over to Trump’s side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have no illusions that Trump’s second term will be any better than his first. I fear he will try to take over the country, extend Presidential powers far beyond anything ever intended. I fear he may seek to create a Fascist state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Well, alea jacta est<\/em>. We’re in for a ride, and it might get rough. But I think it wouldn’t be as rough as it might have been, had Harris won the election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Beyond the bigotry against Israel and Jews, there is the whole “woke” issue. Supposedly people who are “woke” have awakened to the truth, recognized it, and are now living it. But it’s mostly bullshit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n They have a bunch of rules, such as the LGBTQ+ people. There is “gender affirming” surgery, which is nothing of the sort. It’s an attempt to turn a person from one gender into another; boys become girls, and girls become boys. It’s often done early, at a time when the kids really have no idea what they’re in for, what is involved. And if you question it, you’re labeled transphobic, and often they’re try to “cancel” you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n They’ve got Queers for Palestine. This is utterly insane. These Queers would be killed if they tried to come out in “Palestine.” I seriously don’t know what they’re thinking – actually, it’s clear that they’re not thinking, or else they simply refuse to face the facts. Palestine doesn’t want any Queers, and they’ll kill them if they find them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And cancel culture. It’s not enough that a person who questions things is vilified, often people set out to destroy them, get them fired, have them blacklisted, ensure that they are “canceled.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n What troubles me more is that this isn’t even an “extreme Left” view.
