And&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">There is something called &#8220;kopi luwak,&#8221; or &#8220;civet coffee.&#8221; It&#8217;s $400 per pound or more. This is coffee made from beans that a civet had eaten and excreted. The beans are retrieved from the feces, washed, and roasted. It is said that this coffee is unusually smooth and tasty. I don&#8217;t plan to find out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">What puzzles me is, who ever thought of preparing coffee that way? I mean, you see coffee beans coming out the wrong end of a civet, and think, &#8220;Ya know, I bet that would make a delicious cup of coffee?&#8221; Who does this?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Indonesia is famous for its exotic spices and its wonderful coffee.
